Backtests were produced using the “Control Points” model in MT4 Strategy Tester — a method the platform flags as unreliable. The AUDCAD M30 test from May–September 2023 recorded a 50.50% maximal drawdown on a $500 deposit and 32.85% on a $1,000 deposit, alongside a 73.90% win rate across 1,563 trades. How It Works

Strategy: Automated grid and martingale-style basket EA trading EURCHF, EURUSD, and GBPUSD on H1. An AUDCAD M30 preset is also included. The system opens sequential entries at fixed pip intervals and increases lot size on each new position to recover prior losses through a collective basket take-profit.

Entry: New positions open when price moves PipsStep (5.0 pips) beyond the prior entry in the same direction. No indicator-based confirmation is specified in the available materials. Validate entry trigger behavior in demo before live use.

Exit: The basket closes collectively when total profit reaches TakeProfit (10 pips) or LockProfit threshold (4.0). TrailingStop (2.0) manages open profit once LockProfit activates. There is no hard stop loss — the basket remains open until the profit target is hit or MaxTrades (15) is reached.
