ForexYields EA is an automated momentum and price-action trading system available in three separate versions: Phoenix MT4, Phoenix MT5, and Cbot for cTrader. It trades XAUUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY, and EURUSD using breakout logic with an optional grid and smart martingale system. Two public Myfxbook real accounts at IC Markets provide the primary historical performance evidence for the Phoenix MT4 version.

Performance Results

Two public Myfxbook real GBP accounts at IC Markets on MetaTrader 4 provide the primary performance evidence. The first account recorded a +39.07% gain, 23.37% maximum drawdown, a 1.76 profit factor, and 486 trades, with the tracking period running from Feb 2023 to Sep 2023. The second account, focused on Gold and USDJPY, recorded a +26.96% gain, 17.19% drawdown, a 1.42 profit factor, and 731 trades, tracked from Jan 2024 to Nov 2024. Both pages remain publicly accessible with verified trading privileges confirmed on each account.

The most recent Myfxbook update was Nov 15, 2024. Neither account reflects activity in 2026. Treat these as historical live benchmarks, not current performance.

The 23.37% drawdown on the first account warrants close attention. A single-event drawdown spike of approximately -20% occurred on Mar 17, 2023, followed by recovery — consistent with grid-based recovery behavior where multiple open positions compound exposure during adverse moves. Phoenix runs with up to 50 grid trades per side (MaxTrades_EachSide: 50), a 1.11 multiplier, and a 400-point stop loss per the documented input parameters. Manage this risk by sizing lots conservatively, confirming broker spread and execution quality before live use, and enabling the equity protector and daily loss limit during initial testing.

How It Works

Strategy: Momentum and price-action trading using support and resistance breakout logic. Trades XAUUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY, and EURUSD on Phoenix MT4/MT5 or cTrader (Cbot). Phoenix uses a grid system to manage open positions across the trend. Cbot additionally supports Renko block operation.

Entry: Momentum breakout at support/resistance levels with optional MA filter (ma_period: 75, Exponential, Typical price). Pullback mode is available but disabled by default. The EA runs Sunday through Friday, 00:00–23:59 server time, with no hour restrictions in the default configuration.

Exit: Take profit at 30 points per the documented inputs. Trailing stop activates at 12 points with a 1-point trailing step. Stop loss is set at 400 points per trade. Grid positions extend up to 50 trades per side at a 1.11 multiplier with 15-point grid step spacing.

Risk Control: Default lot size 0.01 (constant lot mode). Risk per trade: 1.0%. Daily loss limit closes all trades when equity loss reaches 5%. Equity protector is available but disabled by default — enable it before live trading. News filter pauses trading 5 minutes before and 10 minutes after high and medium-impact USD and EUR events; also disabled by default.

⚠️ Caution: Grid and smart martingale are not disabled by default — confirm your settings before going live. Equity protector and news filter require manual activation in the input panel.
