Critical disclosure: Both backtests ran at 25% modelling quality — the lowest tier in MT4’s strategy tester. At this quality level, tick simulation is incomplete, meaning slippage, spread spikes, and real execution gaps are not reflected. A 96%+ win rate at 25% quality does not predict live performance. The Martingale-derived logic means a losing sequence on live markets — where spreads widen during news — can produce losses significantly larger than the backtest suggests.
